EAGLE LAKE, FL. – Wilbur Stanley Burroughs Jr., 69, of Eagle Lake, Fl., passed away on Feb. 7th, 2013, while at rest in his home. He was a native of Aiken for many years before retiring to Eagle Lake.

The memorial service will be held at Holiday Church in Ware Shoals, S.C. on Sat., Feb. 23rd, 2013 at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Byron Wood officiating.

Stan is survived by his spouse Lily, his children Tammie (Dave) Browne of Oswego, NY, Darin (Vicky), of Watertown, NY, and Robbie of NJ. Stan will be missed by his grandchildren, Ethann Browne, Zachary, Amanda, Garrett, and Tanner Burroughs. Stan is survived by his sister Donna (Myers) Porter of Augusta, Ga. and brother Robin of Ware Shoals, S.C. He will be missed by his many cousins and friends from around the country and “the nation”. Stan is preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Jordan, his son Shane, his parents Wilbur and Doris Tumblin Burroughs, and his sister LaDell Allen.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Kidney Foundation. Stan followed his dreams while traveling each and every highway!
