Debbie passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Lawton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Debbie was born on November 22, 1952 in Vallejo, California to Hank and Barbara (Baugh) Kephart. The family came to Lawton in 1967 where Debbie attended school, graduating from Eisenhower High School in 1970. She attended Cameron University, and later attended Vo-Tech to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Labor and Delivery and later worked for AT&T as a sales rep, working both in Lawton and later in the Oklahoma City business office. She returned to Lawton in 2011. Debbie enjoyed reading and when her eyesight wouldn't allow that anymore she liked books on tape. She was a member of the Lupus Association in Oklahoma City where she volunteered to answer phones from her home 2-3 days a week. She also went to the office to help with mailouts and organize events. She was a co-support facilitator, board member, and she was given a lifetime membership for her volunteer work and service for everything she did while assisting an office with no paid staff. Debbie was a Church of Christ member.

She is survived by her sister and brother in law, Cathy and James Brennan, of Lawton; her brother and sister in law, Steve and Gail Kephart of Port Orchard, Washington; her son, Derek Burrows; and her nieces and nephews, Shelley Boadas, Kyle Brennan, Jennifer Burke, Jessica Kephart, and Dustin Kephart.
