Larry was a wooden boat builder, a yacht designer, and a water color artist. He taught Art at Terra State Community College in Fremont, Ohio, and was a member of the Port Clinton Artists Club. He was an incredible and talented artist who enjoyed painting boats and barns, making models and sketching. He loved his cats, but more importantly, he was a loving father and adored his grandson.
Survivors include his son, Brian (Rebecca) Ameigh, of Fairfax, California; grandson, Jake Harrison Ameigh, along with another grandchild on the way; brother, Ronald (Luz) Ameigh, of Johnson's Island, and niece, Asia Ameigh. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is to be announced at a later date.
