He was born in Cooperstown June 9, 1918, son of the late R. J. and Louise Lockner. After attending schools here he went to New York and worked as a garage mechanic. He later moved to St. Cloud, Minn., where he was also employed as an automobile mechanic.
He is survived by a brother, Wayne, Cooperstown; three sisters, Mrs. Fairchild (Myrtle) Carter, Denton, Texas; Mrs. Mavis Thompson, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Elery (Delores) Hoyt, McHenry.
A brother, George, preceded him in death.
