Clarence Lockner, 54, died March 23 at St. Cloud, Minn. The funeral was held in the Quam-Plaisted Chapel, Cooperstown, Monday with Rev. Marvin Williamson officiating. Burial was in the Cooperstown Cemetery.
He was born in Cooperstown June 9, 1918, son of the late R. J. and Louise Lockner. After attending schools here he went to New York and worked as a garage mechanic. He later moved to St. Cloud, Minn., where he was also employed as an automobile mechanic.
He is survived by a brother, Wayne, Cooperstown; three sisters, Mrs. Fairchild (Myrtle) Carter, Denton, Texas; Mrs. Mavis Thompson, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Elery (Delores) Hoyt, McHenry.
A brother, George, preceded him in death.
