Charles C. Edwards, 68, of 720 Savage Lane died Monday in a local hospital. A native of Gore, Okla. he had lived here since 1913. He was a retired employee of the Hess Oil Corp.

Surviving are his wife, Susie Lee; three daughters, Mrs. Charlie N. Blissit (Rosa Lee) and Mrs. Ben W. Collins (Charlene), both of Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Wanda Flood of New Iberia, La.; one sister, Mrs. O. M. Blissit (Della Mae) of Corpus Christi; two brothers, George T. Edwards of Corpus Christi and Oscar B. Edwards of Dickinson; 15 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Cage-Mills Downtown Chapel.
