Funeral services to celebrate the life of Michael C. Cinadr, 89, a resident of Davenport, will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the family.

Mr. Cinadr passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael Charles Cinadr was born on July 31, 1928 in Davenport, a son of Harold and Mary (Hart) Cinadr. He served our country in the Army. Michael worked for many years as a truck driver for Oscar Mayer. He really enjoyed his work.

He also enjoyed going for coffee at the HyVee on Rockingham, doing yardwork and growing tomatoes and flowers, fishing, and feeding his cats and even some stray neighborhood cats.
Survivors include his daughter, Jacqueline (Mark) Yancy; a daughter-in-law, Sally Cinadr; grandchildren: Chasity (Kane Knoeferl) Yancy, all of Davenport; Elijah (Carina Hernandez) Yancy, Clinton, Kaycee and Cordel Yancy, and Michael Cinadr, all of Davenport; and many great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sons: Michael and Dennis Cinadr.
