Helen R. (Bubb) Heine, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus and her beloved husband, Harold on September 4, 2017. She was born March 4, 1926 in Fort Wayne, daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Ottenweller) Bubb. She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Susan K. Heine and Karen (Chuck Schroeder) Heine, both of Fort Wayne, Janice Heine Bryan of Mancos, CO, and Tom (Missy) Heine of Shelby County, IN; grandchildren, Alyssa (Todd) Grantham, Bryan (Tiffany) Heine, Daniel (Karen) Schroeder, and Andrea (Zack) Donahue; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harold in 2011; and sisters, Ileen Haas and Betty Andrews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with a rosary service at 3:30 PM. Entombment will be at Catholic Cemetery.
