Dallas Gene Horrocks Sr., 67, of Lockwood, WV,was the son of the late James C Horrocks and Rouena Olive Ramsey Horrocks. On November 1, 1969, he married Trudy Coleman Horrocks, who survives. He is also survived by his five children, Dallas Jr, Tammy, Cindy, Jason, and Amanda, and siblings, Ruth, Doris, Rose, Kenneth, and Lee. Dallas was a lifelong resident of West Virginia. He was a First Church of God minister for 44 years, most recently, pastoring the Gilboa, WV First Church of God until his health declined. He was a talented musician and a collector of musical instruments. He enjoyed sharing his love of music with his family and friends and enjoyed many "jam sessions" with his sons. He had great love for God and his family. Many were blessed to hear his sermons, songs and jokes over the years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy, Bill, and Donnie.
