She was born on August 31, 1922, to Frank and Emily (Anderson) Wille in Toledo, OH. Colleen married Donald Ahl and he preceded her in death,. She then married Wally Anderson and he preceded her in death. She owned Anderson Bakery in South Toledo with her husband, Wally where she specialized in cake decorating. Colleen sold the business after his death and then worked at The University of Toledo in the music department as a custodian. She truly enjoyed the students and staff in the music department and would often go to the student's performances in the evening and even participated in one of the productions.
Collen is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Jim) Jankowski, Donna (Al) Cluckey; sons, Tom (Pat) Ahl, Kip (Kelly) Anderson; sisters, Vivian (Al) Curry, Norma (Frank) Karifa; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Donald and second husband, Wally.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007 from 2-8 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, OH, where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. David Nevergall of Grace Lutheran Church, Elmore, OH. Interment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
