Columbus Pioneer Woman, 95, Honored At Birthday Party.
Columbus. May 2. — Mrs. Mary E. Bonker, pioneer resident of Columbus township for 60 years was honored by her friends in her home Saturday night on her ninety-fifth birthday anniversary.
Mrs. Bonker was born in New York state where she taught school befor coming to Michigan. Her Husband, William A. Bonker, died 14 years ago.
Mrs. Bonker has two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Fogarty and Mrs. John Patterson, both of Columbus township. She has seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was presented with a large bouquet of spring flowers by her friends.
A sister, Mrs. Pamelia Brawt, St. Clair, is 94.
