Reynold J. Ankrapp Sr., 93, of Port Huron, passed away on May 2, 2016, in the Blue Water Hospice Home.

He was born on December 11, 1922 in Columbus Township to the late Max and Mabelle Ankrapp.

Reynold married Margaret Kramp on April 25, 1953, in Richmond. Margaret passed away on August 8, 2009.

He served honorably in the United States Army. He really enjoyed fixing things and took great pride in his yard. Reynold was a milk hauler for 36 years, an Amway Distributor and a Mr. Fix-it. His hobby turned into a small repair shop. Reynold belonged to Faith Lutheran Church, the Michigan Farm Bureau Insurance, and the Michigan Milk Producers Association. He also loved watching the Detroit Tigers.

Reynold is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou (Richard) Fraley of Port Huron, son and daughter-in-law, Reynold (Sara) Ankrapp Jr. of Columbia, South Carolina, daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Matthew) Brown of Port Huron, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother, Franz Ankrapp of Columbus, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Zak, sister, Elizabeth Richardson, brother, Max Jr., sister, Janet Maranzano, brother, Lyle Ankrapp, sister, Janice Leitz, and a brother, Bobby.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am Friday, May 6, 2016, in the Faith Lutheran Church, 3455 Stone Street, Port Huron.

Pastor Mark Huff and Pastor Timothy Eichberger will officiate. Burial will be in Kittridge Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron, and Friday, 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am at the church.
