Also surviving are a son, Samuel (Vickie), Wapakoneta; a daughter, Sandra Koch, Wapakoneta; six grandchildren, Lacy, Wendy, Leah, Candy, Bill and Angie; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Marie Allen, Tulsa, Okla.; and a special friend, Rex Mantooth, Hominy, Okla.
Deceased are a son, Douglas; two sisters, Roselee Goodin, and Nellie Allen, and two brothers, Beaury and Ades Allen.
He retired in 1987, from Ford Motor Co. Engine Plant in Lima. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles, and making crafts. He was also a member of the Ford Retirees Club.
