Roy, 80, of Wapakoneta, died at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born to Samuel and Lillie (Howard) Allen. On July 6, 1953, he married Eva T. Aslin, and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are a son, Samuel (Vickie), Wapakoneta; a daughter, Sandra Koch, Wapakoneta; six grandchildren, Lacy, Wendy, Leah, Candy, Bill and Angie; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Marie Allen, Tulsa, Okla.; and a special friend, Rex Mantooth, Hominy, Okla.
Deceased are a son, Douglas; two sisters, Roselee Goodin, and Nellie Allen, and two brothers, Beaury and Ades Allen.
He retired in 1987, from Ford Motor Co. Engine Plant in Lima. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles, and making crafts. He was also a member of the Ford Retirees Club.
