TREMONTON - Mrs. Dorothy LaRue Jenkins Christensen,
421, of Tremonton, died Sunday in the Valley Hospital.
Mrs. Christensen was born April 12, 1920, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of N. Ralph and Olga Dahlquist Jenkins. She was reared and educated in Salt Lake City and was graduate of Granite High School. She was married to Westley Dansie in 1943. They were later divorced. She was married to Floyd Christensen Feb. 1, 1950, in the Salt Lake Temple. She had been an MIA, Primary and Relief Society teacher, in the LDS Church. Surviving are her husband, the following sons and daughters: Westley Wayne Dansie, Barbara Dansie and Paul Robert Dansie, Phyllis Marie Christensen, Janice Ruth Christensen, Juanita Christensen and Aldred J Christensen, all of Tremonton; a stepson and stepdaughter, Liane Christensen, serving In in the LDS Great Lakes Mission, • and Von Christensen,- with the armed forces in St Louis, Mo.; her parents of Salt Lake City the following sisters: Mrs. Vera Jones, Michigan; Mrs. Lorna Holgate, Mrs. Darlene Coonrad, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Evelyn Barlow, Mrs. Dorothy Glade, both of California; Mrs. Lena Berlin, Ogden. ' Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Tremonton First Ward Chapel by Bishop George Smith. Friends., may call at the First Ward Relief Society room Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. until services. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, directed by Rogers Mortuary.
