Mrs. Delia Deem Allen, 83, of Tremonton, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 1983, in the Box Elder County Nursing Home in Tremonton.

She was born Oct. 1, 1899 in Hyrum, a daughter of James Richard and Wilhelmine B. Danielsen Deem.

She married Leslie W. Allen on Oct. 7, 1915, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 18, 1978.

She had lived in Bothwell and Tremonton since her marriage.

She was reared and educated in Hyrum, Plain City and Farr West.

She was a member of the LDS Church. She had served in the Relief Society presidency, was a visiting teacher and Primary teacher. She and her husband served a mission in Texas.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Leslie Delbert Allen, Garland; Richard Glen Allen, Upland, Calif .; Mrs. Henry (Lois) Bolingbroke, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Lawrence Clough, Huntsville; 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Also surviving are one brother, George Deem, Ogden; three sisters, Lottie Dustman, Deweyville; Goldie Layman, Ogden; Adeline Burnett, Ogden.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 12 noon at Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton with Bishop Glen R. Curtis officiating.

Interment in Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
