Howard F. Eichelberger, 87, died at 6:55 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 at York Hospital.
He was the husband of Virginia Y. (Boogher) Eichelberger.
Born November 4, 1929 in York, a son of the late Arthur F. and Mary (Kibler) Eichelberger.
He retired from Tooling Dynamics where he worked as a tool and die maker. Mr. Eichelberger enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time at his mountain retreat in Clinton County.
In addition to his wife of 66 years, Mr.
Eichelberger is survived by two sisters, Ethel Miller and Louise Stremmel.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, Craig A. Eichelberger and Brian L. Eichelberger; two brothers, Luther and Henry Eichelberger; and a sister, Bessie Herman.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery with full military honors presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
