She was born in Albia, Ky a daughter of the late Maon and Dora (Black) Carter. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Noel Gaddis, her second husband, Edgar Ray Gaddis, three sons, Jerry Gaddis and two sons who died in infancy, Tony and Vola Gaddis, She is survived by one son, J.W. Gaddis, two grandchildren, Tobey Gaddis and Josie & (Joseph) Adams, two great grandchildren, Dustin and Kaitlynn Adams and one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Gaddis Walker all of Muncie, IN.
