Rainstown - Geo. Walter, a former resident of this place, died in Butte, Montana, Friday. The remains were brought back here, arriving Monday evening at the home of his brother, J. G. Walter, north of here. The funeral was Tuesday with burial at White Lick cemetery east of Pittsboro. Besides his brother, he has several nephews and nieces in this vicinity, and a sister, Mrs. Alfred Thompson, at Indianapolis.
