Mrs. Terrell was born May 7, 1918 to the late Thomas M. and Elora Benson in Marietta. Dorothy lived in Marietta until 2014, when she moved to Flowery Branch to be with her son Dennis and his wife Beatrice. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Marietta.
Mrs. Terrell is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Dennis and Beatrice Terrell and Richard and Jean Ye Terrell; grandsons and wives Chris and Anne Pyron Terrell and Scott and Katie Terrell; and great-grandchildren Warren, Callaway and Helen. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Lawrence Terrell, whom she married in 1936.
