Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, September 2, 2017, at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Joe Ligon officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation in Marlow.
Helen was born Saturday, October 1, 1927 in Paris, TX, to William Lee and Oma (Long) Yancy. She had lived in the Rush Springs and Marlow area most of her life, and had lived briefly in the Oklahoma City area. Helen had three husbands that preceded her in death. She loved to garden taking especially good care of her flowers. Helen loved to cook and used her love of cooking to provide meals for everyone at Falls Creek. She especially enjoyed sewing and traveling to see family and friends as she loved spending time with them all. Helen was a member of the Red Hat Club, OM Buds Man Club, Good Sam Club, and the Silver Tones. She was always an active member of the First Baptist Church in Marlow and had taught Sunday School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her 3 husbands, James Richardson, Bruce Edwards, Dean Cuthbertson, a sister, Opal Glenn, brother, Glenn Yancy, 2 infant brothers, and a daughter-in-law, Betty Edwards.

She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a daughter-in-law Fran Edwards of Rush Springs.
