Wayne durham, 85, of Moberly, died tuesday, august 29, 2017, at the clarence Care Center. Wayne was born December 7, 1931, in Jacksonville to Dudley and Mamie Durham.
Prior to retirement he worked for Little dixie Packing House. He had also drove a taxi for many years around Moberly. Wayne was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and was a past member of the Moose Lodge.
He married Beverly Ann Albright on September 16, 1955 in Waverly, IA; and she preceded him in death on July 9, 2008. also preceded him in death were his parents, a brother Harold Durham, and two sisters Elsie Jackson and Irene Birdsong.
Survivors include his children, son of Moberly, daughter of Macon, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions to Clarence Care Center or Hospice Compassus would be appreciated.
Services honoring and celebrating Wayne's life were held at the Cater funeral Home chapel. Committal prayers and burial followed in the grand Prairie Cemetery.
