J.W. Paul and Mollie (Mary Elizabeth) Patterson married on 31 Jan 1904 in Hunt County, Texas according to marriage records. Unfortunately, his death certificate indicates he was never married. The death certificate was completed at the Terrell State Hospital where he had lived a number of years. His obituary was published in the Wills Point Chronicle, Friday, March 16, 1962 and indicates he was married to Molly Patterson and had one son, James Ward of Brownwood; two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Wise, Hobbs, New Mexico; and Mrs. Johnny Johnson, Brady, Texas.
