Betty Ellen McBride, 76, of Mountain View, Missouri went to be with her Lord on August 30, 2017 while at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.
She was born May 10, 1941 in Winona, Missouri, the daughter of Claude and Lillie (Price) Watts.
Betty was united in marriage on July 4, 1958 to Marion McBride, who precedes her in death.
She is also preceded by a daughter-in-law, Linda Marie McBride; son-in-law, Donald House; and two brothers, Raymond Watts and wife, Rose, and Delmar Watts.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy McBride of West Plains, MO and Bobby McBride and wife, Cheri, of Mountain View, MO; two daughters, Rosie Wallace of La Salle, IL and Mary House of Hardinsburg, KY; one sister, Retha McBride and husband, Harrison, of Mountain View, MO; ten grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and tending to her flowers.
She also like sewing, watching television, and completing word search puzzles.
Her favorite color was pink and she loved decorating her home in all shades of pink.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View.
