Mr. Charles Stanley Long, Sr. 75, of Stephens City, VA. died Friday at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.
Mr. Long, born in Winchester, VA; was the son of Hallie V. Cary Long and the late Lewis G. Long, Sr. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Long and Robert Long.
Survivors include his mother, Hallie V. Cary Long of Winchester, VA; and his wife, Sandra J. Richard Long of Stephens City, VA; three daughters, Paulette Long, Theresa Long both of Middletown; and Nanette Tinsley of Greenbelt, MD; three sons, Charles Stanley Long, Jr. of Winchester, VA; Duron Long and Brett Long both of Stephens City, VA; two sisters, Chris Elliott of Wilmington, MS and Debbie Doleman of Berryville, VA; three brothers, Herman Long, Lewis Long, Jr. and Cary Long all of Winchester, VA; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of other family and friends.
The family received friends 7-8:30 PM, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Cartwright Funeral Home in Winchester, VA; and one hour prior services on Thursday at the church.
The funeral services were held at 11 AM, Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Winchester, VA. with the Rev. Kevin Wilson officiating.
Burial was made in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, VA.
