Born June 16, 1941 in Bennettsville, he was a son of the late Ethel Driggers. He was a furniture maker and was a Methodist. Mr. Robert was an army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Parachutist Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Air Medal. He enjoyed painting, wood working and NASCAR. His favorite driver was Carl Edwards and he loved listening to Elvis.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and sister, Pebby Driggers.
