Albert L. "Al" Brown Jr. of Cave City died Saturday, August 27, 2017 at his home. He was born June 4, 1922 at Waukeenah, Florida to Albert Leon Brown Sr. and Mollie Rebels Brown. He was retired from the U.S. Navy having achieved the rank of CWO4. He was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a Master Mason and a member of Curia Lodge #144 in Cave City and Amelia Lodge in Fernandina, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ethel Mildred Brown; a daughter, Marriel Brown and sisters, Leola Bussell, Mildred Snow and Edith Martinez.

Survivors include sons, Morgan Brown of Evening Shade and Dana Brown of Cave City; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastside Southern Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Clinton, Michael Lassiter, Raymond Dewitt, Al Dowell, Clell Wilson and Ewell Heath.
