Robert Francis, Jr., 82, passed away October 8, 2008.

He was born in Akron on July 22, 1926 to the late Robert and Catherine Francis. He retired from Barberton Belt Line and served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was also a lifetime member of the V.F.W. #3383, Eagles #555, Wolf Ledges AC and Orioles #167.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Francis; son, Robert Francis III; daughter, Dorothy Dorman; brothers, William Francis, Danny Francis and Freddy Francis; sisters, Mary Francis and Linda Brooks.

He is survived by his son, Tony (Patty) Francis; daughters, Cathy (Jim) Kungle, and Connie Francis; and brother, Tommy (Rosemary) Francis, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and long time companion, Marge McKinney.

Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. TODAY at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant St. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery with military services by V.F.W. Post #3383.
