The son of Dr Albert Toon and his first wife, Eliza Fish, and husband of Edith Adams, Albert resided on Hampden Court and was a retired clerk for the L & N Railroad. He died of uremia at the Pewee Valley Sanatorium at the age of 80, and was interred at Cave Hill on 4 December 1956.
