Danny Lee Lester, 20, a painter employed by National Homes Corporation, died at 3:05 PM Monday [June 29, 1959] in St. Elizabeth hospital due to injuries suffered in a one-car crash in White County Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred when the car driven by Lester failed to round a curve on Springboro Road, two and one-half miles north of Indiana 18, between Monticello and Springboro.
A native of Lafayette, Mr. Lester attended Oakland Elementary School and Jefferson High School. He was a Navy veteran.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo J. Lester of Lafayette; a sister, Carolyn, at home; and a half-brother, Robert Moore of Indianapolis.
