Donna Emma Rose Abbott, 71, died Friday,June 5, 1992 at LDS Hospital of Heart Failure.

She was born March l, 1921 in Malad a daughter of Lehi and Violet Merilda Hansen Rose.

She married Joy Earl Abbott June 30, 1939 in Logan Utah.

She was reared and educated in Malad, Oneida County, Idaho. After her marriage, she moved to Tremonton where she has resided since.

She worked at Gepharts store, Bear River Telephone, and as a secretary for Civil Service until her retirement on May 3, 1983.

Mrs. Abbott was a member of the Tremonton 9th LDS Ward. She loved teaching in the Primary.

Survivors include her husband of Tremonton; two sons, one daughter and their spouses; Donald Earl and Rita Abbott, Riverdale; Judy Kay and Jack Mieure, Roosevelt; Myron Joy and Leslie Abbott, Littleton, Colorado; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Glory Linderman, Ogden and Mrs. Maurine Scott, Long Beach, California.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral Services were conducted Tuesday, June 9, 1992 in the Tremonton South Stake Center, with Bishop James Pugsley officiating.

Interment in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
