Beatrice P. “Bea” Hosler, 97, of Brookline Manor, Mifflintown and formerly of McAlisterville passed away at 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Manor.

Born on February 12, 1920 in New Berlin, Union County she was a daughter of the late Harry and Bertha (Sauer) Mader. Her first husband, Jacob W. Fuller, whom she married on August 15, 1961, preceded her in death on February 19, 1975 and her second husband Paul Hosler, Sr., whom she married on October 22, 1984, preceded her in death on February 3, 2002.

Surviving are her children, Audrey Fuller, of Troy, David Fuller, of McClure; step children, Jessie Griffith, of Lewistown, Sandy McKenzie and her husband Ross, of Morrow, OH, Leslie Landis, of Mifflin, Arlene Kerr, of Thompsontown; 2 grandchildren, Jacob Fuller, Natalie Demaree and her husband Nick; 2 great grandchildren, Chase Fuller and Nola Demaree; and 16 step grandchildren.

One step son, Paul Hosler, Jr., one brother, Rollin Mader and one sister, Miriam Burnsworth, preceded her in death.

Beatrice was a member of a non-denominational Christian organization since she was 14 years old. She enjoyed flower arranging, sewing and gardening.

Until her retirement, Mrs. Hosler was employed as a draftsperson, for Sprout and Waldren, of Muncy.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Robert Flippo and Steve Marshall officiating. Interment will be private in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, Montoursville.

A viewing will be held from 6:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
