Bobby Gean “Bob” Ailey, age 79 of Seymour, TN passed away Saturday August 26, 2017. He was retired from the US Air Force where he served for 23 years. Bob was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed working in the yard and building birdhouses. He was most happy when surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison Ailey, Jr. and Ruth Lowe Ailey.

Survivors include:
Wife: Carolyn Leigh Ailey
Daughters: Rita Adams and husband Travis, Teresa Cardwell and husband John
Grandchildren: Jay VanSickle and fiancé Natalie Jimenez, Briana Clayton and boyfriend Alex Tate, and Brittany Cardwell
Great-grandchildren: Esibella Jimenez, Cambria Cardwell, Marley Tate, and Dylan VanSickle

Family and friends will meet 4 PM Wednesday at Providence (Blount Co.) Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Gabe Brown and Pastor David Burnett officiating and military honors provided by The American Legion Post No. 104.
