She was a member of the P.E.O Sisterhood, Edmonds Chapter. Throughout her years in church, she served as a teacher, pianist and member of the choir.
In 1955, Barbara and Jim were baptized together in Pocatello, ID. About 40 years later, they were blessed to have the opportunity to be baptized together again in the Jordan River during their memorable trip to the Holy Land.
Barb was a dearly loved wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and most of all, Child of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents Keith and Aileen Horning, her sister Sarah Jane (Jimmie) Young, her baby daughter Lisa and her son James Keith.
She was killed by a drunk driver.
