Ralph H. Dobbins Sr., 83, of Lowell, Ohio, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly. He was born on May 25, 1934 in Waterford Township, son of Walter and Violet Biehl Dobbins.

He had been a diesel mechanic for RO Wetz Transportation for 43 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Coal Run Church of Christ.

Ralph was married on June 28, 1963 to Donna M. Brown Dobbins who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Debbie Evans of Beverly and Violet Suttle and husband Freddie of Coal Run.; One son, Ralph Dobbins Jr. of Coal Run; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and nine sisters; and his son in-law, Forrest Evans.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Evang. Rich Lemal officiating. Burial will be the Beverly Cemetery.
