Mr. Pack was born at Woods Cross, Utah, Sept. 2, 1862, son of Ruth Mosher and John Pack, a Scout in Brigham Young's party of settlers. He spent the greater part of his life at Kamas, Summit County, where he was engaged as a cattleman and ranger for the government. He married Margaret E. Hodson on June 3, 1903 in the Salt Lake Temple. In 1927 he moved to Tremonton.

He is survived by the following children:
Mrs. James Walton,
Mrs. Clifton Kerr,
Phillip E. Pack,
Ruth Pack, Tremonton;
Maurice H. Pack, Manti:
Mrs. Grant Seely, Brigham City,
six grandchildren.

He has a number of brothers and sisters, including Fred Pack, professor at the University of Utah.
