Martha Melissa Valentine, age 70, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Connie and Lucille Valentine; and granddaughter, Mary Gean Webb.
She is survived by her sons, David Black, Daniel Black (Sheila) and Donald Black (Ashley) ; daughter, Deborah Webb; brothers, D. Anthony Valentine, D. Anthony Valentine, II; grandchildren, Rachel Ullery, Brittany Hill, Christopher Webb, Kilayla Black, Tiffany Black, Madison Black, Austin Black, Izaac Black, Julian Osborne, Riley Black and Emma Black; several great-grandchildren; special friends Jessie Parker and Sandy Lundy; also other family and friends. .
Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
