Della Lopez was born July 23rd, 1907.
She married my Great Grandfather, Corey Verkuyl, in about 1932. Their union brought forth no children, but Aunt Della was a wonderful wife and step-mother to Corey's daughter Harriet from his previous marriage. My mother (her step-granddaughter) always called her "Aunt Della", and so did we. She wrote my mother faithfully until she passed away at 97 years old!
After Corey passed away, Della married Herbert Robinson in 1982.
She passed away of old age in 2004, and was buried beside Corey in Fresno Memorial Gardens.
