Opal Yeary, 98, of Corning passed away August 21, 2017 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas.
Mrs. Yeary was a former C. N. A. who enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, crocheting, and word search puzzles. She was a member of House of Prayer in Corning.
She was preceded in death by her son Jesse Yeary, Jr.; daughters Mary Lois Yeary and Vivian Yeary; parents George and Bessie (Rogers) Arnold; her first love Jess Yeary; and special friend Maizel Baxley.
Visitation was Thursday August 24, 2017 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jimmy McMasters officiating.
