John Daniel Andrews, 81, died March 3,2007 at Parkway Health & Rehabilitation in Stuart. He was a native of Cairo, GA and lived in Stuart since 2006, coming from Prentiss, MS.

Before retirement, he owned a landscaping business in Mississippi.

He served in the Army during World War II.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sons, John Dennis Andrews of Prentiss, William Andrews of Jensen Beach and the Rev. Jack Andrews of Carson, MS; daughters, Kitty Beard of West Palm Beach and Debra Dunham of Hobe Sound; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. March 6 at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, with military honors provided by the Army.

Arrangements are by Young & Prill Funeral Home, Stuart.
