Clara was preceded in death by her daughter, Clara O. Duke, both parents, her sisters; Esther L. Jefferson and Velma J. Moore, and a brother, Wilbur N. Thompkins.
She is survived by her children; James C. Duke, Reginald B. Duke, Sheila Duke, Glenda Duke and Linda Barry, as well as 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; siblings: Jean Perkins and Shirley Price of Hartville, Missouri; Glenn Thompkins and June Loudermill, Springfield, Missouri, Carl Thompkins, Dillard Thompkins, Wilda Winslett, Carolyn Taylor and Kathleen Simmons of Olathe, Kansas and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North; burial in the Thompkins Cemetery, Wright County Missouri.
