Richard is survived by his wife, of 30 years, Katherine Ann (Walters) Shipe, daughters: Lisa Broaddus and husband Bryan and Wendy George and husband Gary, grandchildren: Stephanie, Brandon, Dylan and Madison and sister: Sara Evans.
