Solomon Peck, son of Ichabod and Judith (Paine) Peck, was born Arpil 19, 1733, at Rhoboth, Mass. Early in life he settled in the southwestern part of Wrentham, Mass. Contemporary records show him to have been a wealthy gentleman farmer, a man of distinction and influence in the community. He married Mercy Foster, who was born May 22, 1734, daughter of Ebenezer Foster, of Cumberland. He died December 31, 1802.
