On September 26, 1939 in Huntsville, TX., David T. Branch, Sr and Velma Branch were blessed with an active bundle of joy that they proudly named David T. Branch, Jr. He was the second child and only boy of five siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, David T. Branch, Sr., and Velma Branch.

He confessed Christ at an early age and was a faithful member throughout his life at St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was a life-long resident of Huntsville (Crabbs Prairie), Texas and attended Sam Houston High School. David was an active Trustee, participated in the Male Chorus as well as a member of the Men's impact ministry.

He retired with the Texas Department of Corrections after serving 20 years. He continued to remain active by becoming a truck driver for individual companies. Some of his pleasures included gardening and hosting an Annaul Trailride.

David united in Holy Matrimony to Joyce Mack and to this union two children were born, David T Branch III, who preceded him in death, and Kaleb T. Branch. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He was known to many of his relatives and friends as " BoBo or Bub"

In the early morning hours of February 2, 2008, Our Father made the ultimate decision to have David report to his new home.
