When the Turners of Brinkley were surveying this cemetery prior to publishing a preliminary list in 1992, they discovered what they described as a "very old broken marker" and wrote the following:

"Bradweps?, John [died] 1943"

Further research shows that it was the marker of John Aaron Braswell. Through 1935 John had been living in St. Francis County, but by 1940 he had moved to Moro in Lee County. When he registered for the draft in 1942, he was working in Aubrey in Lee County, but he listed Mrs. Jim Densmore of Moro as the person who would always know his whereabouts.

Mrs. Densmore appears to have been the wife of James Densmore of Phillips County and later Lee County, and he had a younger brother named Herbert, who married Lois Virginia Braswell, John A. Braswell's daughter. Herbert Densmore is buried in this cemetery, and so is his and Lois's son Johnny.
