MEDARYVILLE -- Arlos L. Haring, 73, of West Main Street, died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday in Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, of natural causes. Mrs. Haring had been employed as a bookkeeper at Grieger General Store for 37 years. She was born Feb. 29, 1920, in Medaryville, and was a lifelong area resident. On Jan. 20, 1940, in Winamac, she married Gilbert "Gib" Haring. He survives with a son, Mark of Francesville; a granddaughter, and a sister, Lois Daughtee of Indianapolis. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Francesville. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to charities selected by the Haring family.
