Nancy S. Carr, age 73, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on August 15, 2017. She was born May 25, 1944 in Joplin, Missouri to Harold and Mildred (Leatherberry) Campbell. On October 5, 1963, Nancy married Daniel Warren Carr in Joplin, Missouri. She was a member of the Assembly of God faith.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Daniel W. Carr of McKinney, Texas; children, Sharon Elaine Carr and spouse Paige Coffman of Chicago, Illinois, Steve Carr and spouse Lori of Oak Leaf, Texas; grandchildren, Sydney Pritchard and Ariel Pritchard of Coppell, Texas; cousin, Linda Estes and spouse Dale of Orlando, Florida; mother-in-law, Violet Carr of Cleveland, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Helen Smith and spouse Joe also of Cleveland, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening, August 18, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
