Kathleen Mathison (Taggart) Sunrise: June 28, 1973 Sunset: August 11, 2017 Kathleen, resident of Cibolo Texas, went to be with the Lord and leaves behind her beloved Husband Daryl Mathison AKA Her "Sweety" whom she wed November 8, 1997, and Daryl's family and her siblings. They met while attending St. Mary's University and have a mutual love of their beautiful pups Sasha, Sadie and Kinsey. These were her babies and she referred to herself as their Mama. She is preceded in Death by Her Mother Kay Taggart and Her Sister Kimberly Bazan. Kathleen obtained her Master's Degree from OLLUSA in 2003 with specialty in Social work and her contributions to the community made a positive impact on many families. And she often called those she met her family because she knew no strangers and always gave the most beautiful smile and hug to those she encountered. Her life quote "Love 'Bears' All Things" is one of her favorite because no matter the obstacle in life she always found a way to champion through and give love to everyone who knew her. RIP Sweet Angel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 5 pm to 9 pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Schertz United Methodist Church on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11 am, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park at 3 pm.
