Ms. Deanna Rae Ahmann, known to friends and family as Dee Dee, of Marshall, Missouri, formally of Marthasville, MO., passed away on Saturday August 12, 2017, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. She had reached the age of 69 years.
Dee Dee was born on December 22, 1947, in Washington, MO., to Homer T. Ahmann and Ethel M. Ahmann (nee: Duebbert). Dee Dee enjoyed reading, riddles, jigsaw puzzles and coloring. She delighted in traveling, shopping and eating out. She loved listening to Country music as well as Gospel. She enjoyed watching game shows, old westerns and Little House on The Prairie on TV. Dee Dee was a member of St. Paul's UCC and she loved coming home to Marthasville to spend time with her family.
Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Ethel. She is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Phyllis Sontag, Gene Ahmann and Nancy Liesmann. Dee Dee will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Lisa Clark and husband Bob, Michelle Sontag, Jeremy Liesmann, Mark Liesmann and Cynthia Liesmann. She was also loved by her great-nieces and great-nephews: Meghan Buller and husband Daniel, Elizabeth Clark, Holly Clark, Alexx Lewis, Issac Liesmann and Emma Liesmann.
Visitation for Ms. Deanna Ahmann will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. Paul's UCC in Marthasville, MO, beginning at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Funeral services will also be held at the church on Saturday beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at St. Paul's UCC Cemetery.
