She passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 14, 2017, with her family at her side, following a four and half year battle with cancer. She fought to the end.
Marie was born January 8, 1932 in Davenport, a daughter of Jess and Caroline (Worley) Wolfe. She graduated from Davenport High School, Class of 1951.
She was a wonderful cook and had worked for several restaurants in the Quad Cities and most recently at the Humility of Mary Center in Davenport. She really enjoyed cooking for the nuns.
Marie enjoyed playing cards, fishing, board games, and feeding the ducks at the park.
Her blue eyes and smile will be missed.
Survivors include her children; Michael Durham, Davenport, Katherine (Steven) Webster, Blue Grass, David (Rose) Durham, Branson, MO, Gerald (Janelle) Durham, Silvis, IL, Paula Moeller, Tipton, IA, and Jacquelyn Moeller, Davenport; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
