Son of George and Rebecca (Throckmorton) Needels. Married December 12, 1888 in Gentry County, MO to Sarah Culp who died in 1934. Had a son who died in infancy. Survived by two children: Mrs. Azalia Boyd of St. Louis, MO and Rev. John C. Needles [sic] of Winona, MO. George died in the state hospital, aged 83y 3m. Buried in Grandview East Cemetery next to his wife.
