MILLER, Violet Rose – 89, of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Violet, born May 25, 1923, was a daughter of the late Roy M. and Elizabeth (Muise) Fells. She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Fiorino) Troilo, Kenora Ont.; Janice (Mel) Fitzgerald and Seretha (Daniel) MacIsaac, both of Yarmouth; grandchildren, Dominic and Violet; DeAnna and Matthew; Daniel and Michael; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Fells, Yarmouth; Seretha (Gerry) Roggs, Redvers, Sask.; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by husband, Charles C. Miller; brothers, James Creaser, George McInnis, Charles “Bucky” Fells, Roy Fells and Loran “Cuzzy” Fells; sisters, Clara DeCoste and Nora Adams. She had been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 61. Later in life, she gave her heart to the Lord and became a faithful member of Evangel Assembly, where she loved to sing in the choir. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. Her family will receive visitors on Monday, December 17 from 7-9 p.m. at Evangel Assembly Church, where funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 18 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Oral Stewart officiating. A reception will follow the service in the lower auditorium. Interment will take place at a later date in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
